MainStage School of Performing Arts - Where children learn to shine!
The primary goal of MainStage School is to instill a great sense of accomplishment and an immeasurable feeling of self-confidence in each child by using a holistic approach to arts education.
Through participation in the performing arts, MainStage believes that children will benefit in all areas of their lives.  MainStage nurtures the intellectual, artistic, and personal development of children and youth through multi-arts education, performance opportunities, and extraordianry theatrical experiences.

Our MainStage classes are fun, exciting, and designed to bring out the very best in each child.  We let our parents in on the fun with special showcases, Broadway Shows, and invitations to class.
A MainStage class will help your child to:
  • Balance and prioritize tasks to reach goals
  • Express emotions in a healthy, safe, and creative way
  • Develop language, cognitive, and motor skills
  • Develop creative problem solving skills
  • Develop self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Practice effective communication and cooperation in a group setting
  • Shine!!!

Megan Hughes
With over 50 children's shows to her credit, Ms. Megan believes that children's theatre presents opportunities for life lessons as well as encouraging a life-long love of the arts.   We work very hard to create a community of young artists.  We know each of our students and love them for who they are.  We see their strengths and weaknesses, meet them where they are and open the door to where they can go.  We celebrate their differences and believe they are more capable and powerful then they realize.  We teach that excellence is achieved through hard work and dedication.
Ms. Megan has served as a children's and adult choir director and has taught music, art, and English.  She has coached several area students who have been accepted into prestigious college programs.
